chance so I took a deep breath and walked towards her. 'Hi, Ava,' I said, forcing myself to smile. I reached into my satchel for her invitation. 'Hello,' said Ava, and I noticed her smirk as she caught sight of Pink Rabbit. I felt my cheeks get hot. 'What do you want?' she asked in the kind of voice that sounded like she didn't care. A voice that sounded like she thought she was so much more important and fantastic than anyone else. I stuffed the invitation back down into my satchel. 'It doesn't matter,' I squeaked, embarrassed and scurried back to my desk.
