佐伊总是有办法 · 8 Bips and Roses
I flumped down on my bed with a big dramatic sigh. "I just feel like I'm missing something, Mom. Can you think of anything else I could try with the bips?" Mom tapped her chin. "Let's both sleep on it. Maybe something will come to us overnight. Speaking of which, wait here!" I heard her rustling through the hall closet, and she reappeared with both hands behind her back. "You're being weird, Mom." I giggled. "I was going to save this for the next holiday, but you might need it tonight," she said, and she brought out her hands to reveal what she'd been
hiding. A new bonnet! "Whoaaaa, are those Thinking Goggles?!" I ran my hands over the satin fabric that was covered in drawings of science goggles. "Mmm-hmm." Mom nodded proudly. "When Dad saw this fabric, we knew you had to have it! Who knows, maybe your Thinking Goggles bonnet will give you ideas in your
dreams." I gave her a big hug and hollered out, "Thank you, Dad!" I pulled the bonnet down over my curls and nestled down into bed. I thought I could feel some tingling—just like when my Thinking Goggles were giving me an idea. "What am I missing with the bips?" I whispered over and over until I fell asleep.
