HOBYAH!' shout the hobyahs. 'Would it be possible for you to stop shouting "Hobyah! Hobyah! Hobyah!" so I can interview you?' calls Wanda. 'I think our readers would love to hear your story!' photos of you!' yells Jimmy. 'HOBYAH! HOBYAH! HOBYAH!' chant the hobyahs in reply. 'Everyone's here and they're okay!'* I whisper to the boot. 'But how are we going to rescue them? We're completely outnumbered!'

*If your definition of 'okay' includes being strung up in a bag and poked with sticks. I don't know if the boot can understand me or not. It's kind of hard to tell. But it must have understood something, because it rises up on its toe, hops rapidly into the room…

and starts kicking the hobyahs!
