MOBS RULE! MINECRAFT STONESHORD SAGR
PROLOGUE Po was deep underground. A strange green fog swirled all around him. He could barely see anything at all. But he saw two little red lights in the fog. And then another pair of them. And dozens more.

Po knew they were eyes. And those eyes were watching him. They shone red with anger, like some sinister constellation of stars. "We'll be okay," whispered Morgan. "We've gotten out of tougher situations than this." But Po wasn't so sure. They'd never seen anything quite like this before. They had never faced a mighty swarm of angry, vicious Minecraft mobs all working together as if they shared a single brain. A hive mind controlled these mobs, and its instructions were simple: Destroy Po and his friends. It was hard not to be worried. Even if the mobs were awfully cute. "Here they come," warned Morgan. The mobs bounced forward. Their small, square eyes flashed like rubies in the torchlight. And now Po could see what they were up against. It was a tidal wave of dangerous…adorable bunnies. "Run away!" cried Po. "RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY!" But his friends were already fleeing. And the rabbits were gaining with each passing second.
Chapter 1 WHEN THINGS SPLIT APART, WHOSE FAULT IS IT ANYWAY? Po Chen tried his best to ignore the strange hole in the Minecraft sky. His friends had recently started calling it the Fault. Though it was small, it was easy to see in the daytime. Against the light blue color of the sky, the blacked-out pixels were hard to miss. But Minecraft was Po's happy place. He was not going to stress out over a little thing like a hole
in the sky. Strange and wonderful things happened here all the time. Why worry about it? "Well, I'm worried," said Po's friend Morgan Mercado. Morgan was a Minecraft expert, and he didn't like it when the game acted unpredictably. "I'D LIKE TO GET A CLOSER LOOK AT IT," said Harper Houston. While Morgan tended to react to situations quickly, Harper liked to gather facts before coming to conclusions. "If we want answers, the best place to find them is in the game's code," said Theo Grayson. Everyone shot him a look. His would-be programming and modding skills had gotten them into trouble before. Theo shrugged and added sheepishly, "It's just a suggestion." "WHATEVER THE FAULT IS… it's definitely not cute," said Jodi Mercado. She was Morgan's little sister, and she enjoyed meeting cute animal mobs and adding artistic flair to the things they built. Wild adventures, epic mob battles, and eerie holes in the sky were not her idea of a great Minecraft session. "La la la," said Po, putting his blocky hands to his ears. "Can't hear you." Morgan scowled. "Be serious, Po," he said. "Aren't you even a little bit curious about what the Fault is? Or about what caused it?"
