Chapter 13 I Lava When Everything Works Out. Water You Mean That's How You Get Obsidian?! Someone knocked and entered the computer lab. It was a short boy in wide, round glasses and an Ironsword student council sash. Morgan recognized him, but he wasn't sure where they'd met before. "Principal Ferris has asked me to remind visiting Woodsword students that all school clubs end at five o'clock sharp!" He blinked a few times. "Oh, hey, Po." "Will!" Po grinned and waved to him. "Thanks for your help today."

"No problem." He noticed Morgan, and his smile got even bigger. "And, uh, sorry." That's where Morgan recognized him from. He was the one who had given them the convoluted directions through Ironsword. "I'm Will Knight! President of the Ironsword student council."

JODI RAISED HER EYEBROWS. "Since when does a president play pranks on the new kids?" Will shrugged. "I was doing you a favor, really. Setting up a good surprise."

On their headsets, Eek asked, "Who are you talking to?" "Anyway," Will continued, "you've got a few minutes left before Principal Ferris starts shutting all the after school activities down." There was no time to waste. They returned their focus to Minecraft. "The last thing we need to do is poor water on lava. Did anybody craft a bucket?" "I did." Po held up a bucket full of water. "Morgan reminded me." "Perfect!" Harper pointed at Po's screen so he could walk over to where he needed to pour. "Luckily, there's lava right here in this cave." Po poured his water on the block next to the lava first—it flowed over the edge. WHERE IT MET THE LAVA, THE TWO COMBINED AND COOLED INTO CHUNKS OF TOUGH OBSIDIAN.

"Wow!" Eek said, reaching down to touch the new block. "TWO THINGS COMBINING INTO SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT."
