8 Electricity safety tips

Electricity safety tips NEVER stick anything except a plug into an electric socket. The current in an ordinary socket at home can easily give you an electric shock strong enough to kill you. NEVER touch bare electrical wire. This can give you a shock too. NEVER unplug an appliance by pulling the wire. It might break. Pull the plug instead.

Be VERY careful with electrical appliances and water. Water conducts electricity, so only touch appliances with dry hands, and don't splash them or drop them in water. NEVER fly kites, model planes or balloons near power lines. If you ever find a fallen power line, STAY AWAY FROM IT. Go and tell an adult.
