死海松鼠系列 · 6 Whirly Squirrelies
CHAPTER 9 "Getting up early to play video games is pretty much the same thing as staying up late to play them," Mrs. Gomez said as Michael sat down for breakfast. "Either way, you're not getting enough sleep." "I feel fine," Michael insisted, rubbing at the bags under his eyes. "Well, you look very tired. And you're not gonna do that again, understand?" Michael sighed. "Yes, ma'am." "Special delivery!" Justin announced, entering the kitchen carrying a large box. "Good morning, Justin," Mrs. Gomez said. "Whatcha got in the box?" Michael asked. "I dunno," Justin replied. "It was on your doorstep. It's addressed to you." Mrs. Gomez raised an eyebrow. "Odd for mail to arrive so early in the day." But Michael was more than happy to receive an unexpected package. He wasted no time tearing open the box... to reveal a drone exactly like Edgar's.
"What?!" Michael wondered as Merle and Pearl entered the kitchen, munching on walnuts. "Suddenly my life is filled with drones?! This is so weird." "Weird but awesome!" Merle said. "I suddenly have something fun to do today!" The squirrels would need to stay put in Michael's room since Mr. Nemesis, having been shut up in Jane's room the last two days, would have run of the house today. Staying locked in a room wasn't quite as bad as being stuck in a backpack all day, but it still made Merle feel very confined. "You take Edgar his drone back, and I'll make sure yours works!"
