Four plots and plans. "WHAT IF THERE WAS A BIG STORM coming?" Harris suggested. "Planes have to wait for storms to clear all the time. It must be the same for spaceships! That might delay them a bit and give us time to come up with a better plan."

"Just a regular storm on Earth wouldn't really stop them," Zeke explained. Then he thought about it a bit longer. "But a space storm might be enough to delay the trip!" "How are we going to find a space storm?" Harris asked.

"With this," Zeke said. He pulled a small device, about the size of a cell phone, from his pocket. "What's that?" Harris asked. "My cosmic imager," said Zeke. "Using this device together with mind projection, we can look deep into space. Watch this."

Zeke pressed the cosmic imager against his forehead. Then he used his mind projection powers to create a huge image of space all around them. Stars suddenly filled up Harris's room. "Wow!" Harris said. "It's like we're on a ship zooming through outer space."

Huge galaxies spun past them as Zeke pushed his mind projection deeper and deeper into space. A swirling mass of green clouds streaked with orange lightning rushed toward them.

"That's it!" Zeke cried. "It's a huge space storm. And it's in between Earth and Tragas! My parents' spaceship would have to pass right through it in order to get home. This is just what we need. This storm looks so big and dangerous, it could tear the ship in half. My parents would never want to fly through it. Do you know what this means?"
