talking Every day we communicate in many ways. When we communicate we give information to others and they give information to us. Most of us communicate by talking. We talk to friends. We talk to our family. We talk to teachers and we also talk to pets. Communicating makes us feel good.

We use letters and cards to communicate too. We can write messages in letters and cards by hand. The messages can be long or short. writing These days we don't write as many letters or cards by hand. We write more of our messages on computers.

We use email for writing messages on computers. We can send email over the internet to almost anywhere in the world. typing Email is a very fast way of communicating. An email takes just a few seconds to send. We can send letters, cards, drawings, photos and videos by email.

Cell phones are another way we communicate. Cell phones are very smart. They don't have wires so we can use them in many places. phone We use cell phones to talk as well as send emails, messages and texts. Texts are messages that can use short words and pictures.

There are other ways of communicating with computers and cell phones. The internet has sites which are like clubs. People join the sites to show their thoughts, messages, photos and videos. When someone shows something on the internet, it is called a post. When others look at the post they can like it.
