"I'm sorry I'm late, Matt," said Emma as she ran outside. "Emma, you're always late," said Matt, "Do you know why? You worry about everything!"
Emma looked in one bag. She looked in the other bag. Emma, come on!" said Matt. "Let's go!" "I want to make sure I bring everything we need," Emma said. "You're slowing us down," said Matt. "You're a worrywart!"
Matt and Emma were cousins. They went biking together every weekend. Today they were riding up into the mountains. It was so much fun! Matt and Emma rode up the trail. Up, up, up!
Soon the cousins were hungry. They ate lunch and had a rest. "Okay," said Emma. "Let's turn around." But Matt laughed. "Emma, it's a nice day. Let's go higher." "We can't," said Emma. "Our parents said to stop here." Matt made a face. "Also, there could be a storm this afternoon," Emma said. "You're a worrywart," Matt said. "Let's go. If it gets cloudy, we'll turn around. Our parents will never know."
Emma said okay to the adventure. Off they went again. Up, up, up! Soon they were up above the trees. But then, it got very cold and windy. It began to snow. "I can't see!" cried Matt. "I don't know which way to go!"
