A Rattle Drum is fun to play. You can make a Balloon Rattle Drum. You must ask an adult to help you.

balloons tape glue scissors You will need these things: a cardboard tube, a stick, two small beads, string, two balloons, tape, scissors and glue. cardboard tube stick string beads

Your helper can make two holes in the cardboard tube. These will be for the handle. The holes must be the right size to push the stick through the cardboard tube. The holes must be in the middle of the tube and opposite. Next, make two small holes for the string. Put them halfway between the first holes.

Push the stick through one hole in the tube. Then push the tube along the stick and through the opposite hole. use glue to keep the stick there.

Tie the middle of the string around the stick inside the tube. Next, push the string out through the small holes.
