She says she wants to write more books and do music for children. She wants to write a Broadway musical based on her life. She wants to own her own cosmetics company. And more! Famous around the world, she never has strayed from her roots. On the lawn in front of the courthouse in Sevierville, Tennessee, there is a life-size bronze statue of her. It was put there by the people who knew her best. The statue is of young barefoot Dolly in rolled-up jeans sitting on a rock with her guitar... dreaming.
