黑湖小学历险记 · 04 The Science Fair from the Black Lagoon
CHAPTER 9 TOO MANY ME'S CLONING LAUGH MACHINE WHICH SCIENCE PROJECT DO YOU THINK HUBIE SHOULD DO? CHOOSE ONE On the school bus ride home, I still can't decide whether I should clone myself or build a laugh machine. While I look out the bus window, I start to daydream about the science fair. But it's more like a day-mare!
I'm running on the playground. It's a bright, sunny day. I'm feeling good, but all of a sudden I bump into me. "Why don't you look where I'm going?" I ask. "Why don't you?" I reply.
We begin to argue, and a third me comes over to settle the fight, but he agrees with both of us. So we call over a fourth me. He's no help, either, and soon we're surrounded by a crowd of me's. I ask, "Why don't we go play basketball?" But I can't seem to agree with myself.
Eleven me's want to play baseball, and I just want to wake up! Suddenly, the bus horn honks and all the other me's vanish. I wipe my brow and decide not to clone myself. I look back into the window for a sec- ond opinion, but luckily I agree with me.
