粉碎机公主 · 3 Bad Moooove!
Chapter 7 It seemed to Princess Pulverizer that she had been running for hours. She could barely breathe as she darted among the trees, trying to avoid leaving a straight path of footprints that the troll could follow. Lucas was right behind her. He was moving quickly, which was pretty impressive considering he was wearing his suit of armor. Finally, when she didn't think she could take another step, Princess Pulverizer stopped running. She put her hands on her knees, bent over, and tried to catch her breath. "I think we're safe here," she told Lucas. "That troll will have a hard time finding us in this deep dark part of the forest." "So will Dribble," Lucas pointed out sadly. He took a deep breath and looked around. "He's never going to find us here."
"Then we'll have to find him," Princess Pulverizer said, trying to sound confident. But she wasn't confident at all. They had been running quite a while. And so far they hadn't seen a single sign of the big guy. "I'm getting worried," Lucas said. "Dribble would never travel far if he thought we were still around here. What if he was captured and dragged off?" Lucas was starting to panic. Princess Pulverizer had to get him thinking about something else. Luckily, the perfect thing was right under her nose. "Boy, something sure stinks out here," Princess Pulverizer remarked. "A forest should smell like pine trees and flowers. But this forest smells awful." Lucas didn't answer. Instead he gulped. And shook. And pointed his finger over the princess's shoulder. "Ch-ch-cheese monster," he stammered nervously. "You mean muenster cheese?" Princess Pulverizer corrected him. "No, I don't think
that's what it is. Muenster cheese isn't usually this stinky." Lucas shook his head, hard. "Ch-ch-cheese monster," he stammered again. "O-o-over thth-there." Princess Pulverizer whipped around to see what Lucas was pointing at. And that's when she saw him: a massive monster made completely of cheese! Gulp. Princess Pulverizer looked up—way up—into the monster's crumbly blue-cheese eyes. The monster glared down at Princess Pulverizer. Princess Pulverizer did not turn away. She didn't even blink. The princess was a champion at staring contests. Not one girl at Lady Frump's Royal School of Ladylike Manners had ever beaten her. So she kept staring. And the monster kept glaring. Zzzap... Just then, a hungry fly landed on the Cheese Monster's cheek. The monster swatted it away
and then scratched at his face. One of the holes in his swiss cheese cheek stretched wide, and a glob of cream cheese oozed down the side of his face.

"Gross!" Lucas gulped and ran off to hide behind a pine tree. Princess Pulverizer thought about hiding, too. But she didn't. Because real knights didn't hide from danger. But real knights had swords to fight with. Princess Pulverizer had nothing but her fists. Strong as she was, the princess was no match for that monster's massive mozzarella muscles. The monster shook his head angrily. Ropes of his string-cheese hair flipped and flopped all around. Flakes of parmesan dandruff fell from his head and drifted to the ground like stinky, smelly snowflakes. AAARRGGG! The monster opened his mouth and let out a frightening growl. Princess Pulverizer jumped back. Boy, that monster had bad breath. Which wasn't surprising, seeing as his shoulders, neck, and armpits were all sculpted from limburger cheese—the smelliest cheese of all. No wonder the troll needed all those cows, sheep, and goats, Princess Pulverizer thought.
