CHAPTER TWO 'Wow,' Dick said, looking around at the crowded beach. 'It's a big turn-out!' 'Hello, children!' The Five turned to see Aunt Fanny

running towards them, her cheeks flushed. 'Isn't it wonderful? So many of the villagers are giving their time. We've had new people every day this week. Here are some sacks for rubbish. All this litter in the sea must be very bad for the fish and other sea creatures! Get cracking!'

They quickly set to work and had managed to fill one of the sacks when Timmy decided it was time for a game. He snatched the sack from Anne's hand and ran off towards the cliffs. 'Timmy!' Anne called furiously after him. 'Bad dog!'

But Timmy loved being chased and dodged all of them. George finally caught up with him and gave him a scolding. 'Not good! Sit.' Timmy dropped the sack and obeyed with droopy ears. He didn't like it when George told him off.

'Oh, look!' Anne exclaimed, holding up a dog collar. 'It looks a bit water-damaged, Julian said, examining it.
