4 Sparkle-Bogey

Chapter 4 Sparkle-Bogey Billy and Ruby looked at the speaking desk with open mouths. Let me out! Let me out! Are you a monster?

"Of course I'm a monster," the voice replied. "What else would I be? A talking snail?" We're trying to get you out, but the door's stuck. "Maybe," Billy thought excitedly, "the new monster can help me find my Mini Monsters." He was also wondering what the new monster looked like.

Would It have horns, like Fang-Face? Or be hairy like Peep? Or be stretchy like Gloop? Or maybe it would be a mixture...

Then: "Can you hurry up?" huffed the voice. "Because I'm getting hungry in here." This is a very bossy monster. Billy gave a final tug to the little door on the back of the desk. It pinged open and there stood... Sparkle- Bogey!

"Wow!" said Ruby. "I know," said Sparkle-Bogey. "Aren't I beautiful!" "Oh yes," said Ruby. Billy wasn't so sure, but he was too polite to say so. What would you like to eat? Glitter and bogeys.

"I think I've got some glitter in my room," said Ruby. "I'll just go and get it. When Ruby came back, Sparkle- Bogey gulped down the glitter. "Yum," she said. Yuck! "You're very, er, different to my other Mini Monsters," said Billy. "There are others?" asked Sparkle-Bogey.
