Chapter 3 Dog vs Tree Just then, the door BURST open and the dog bounded into the room.

"Aaargh!" cried Trumpet. "Don't worry! I'll scare him off," said Fang-Face. He raised his arms and rushed at the dog. Trumpet, Gloop and Captain Snott all ran towards the tree.

Fang-Face growled at the dog. The dog growled back. By now, Trumpet, Gloop and Captain Snott had started to climb the tree. Fang-Face growled EVEN louder. The dog came EVEN closer.

"I'm not sure your plan is working," Sparkle-Bogey called down to Fang-Face. "The dog really doesn't seem very scared of you," added Peep. "No, he doesn't," agreed Fang-Face. Help!

"Now would be a good time for you to do one of your cheese-powered parps, Trumpet," said Fang-Face. "I'll try," said Trumpet. But nothing happened.

I can't do one. What do you mean, you can't? "I've been trying to give up eating cheese," said Trumpet. "Ever since I found out it was bad for the planet!" The Mini Monsters looked down. The dog was now VERY close to Fang-Face.
