CHAPTER THREE EGG-SITTERS Haggis and Tank ran through the forest.

They hadn't gone far before Haggis needed a rest. You go ahead. I'll catch up. That's okay. Haggis. I'll wait for you! Haggis rested. Tank took a look just around the bend.

She found a surprise. A dinosaur egg! But where is your mama? Poor, little. lonely egg!

Tank looked at the egg. She had an idea. I'll egg-sit you until your mama gets back. Maybe I'll even hatch you! Hatch who? Bless you, Haggis! No. hatch who? Two sneezes! I hope you're not getting a cold!

I'm not sneezing! I'm asking you who—who are you going to hatch? A baby dinosaur! Haggis looked at the egg. I don't think it's a good idea to sit on that egg. Don't worry. Haggis— I'll be egg-stra careful. Now, please step aside. I have some egg-sitting to do. Tank sat on the egg.

Then Haggis spotted another egg. Tank, look! Egg-cellent! Twins! We'll need another egg-sitter. You want me to sit on it? Just think—you could be the first dog to hatch a dinosaur! You'll be famous!
