The First Time on a Plane

David is at the airport with his mom. “That's our plane!" says Mom. “It looks huge," says David.

“It looks smaller inside,” he says.

David watches another boy fasten his seatbelt. David copies him.“Hi! I'm Tom.”“Hi! I'm David.”

The stewardess brings gift bags for them. “Thanks!" says David, surprised.

When the plane takes off, David cries out. “My ears hurt!” “Swallow hard!” says Mom.
