Take Care of Your Plant!

Pip got a small plant from Uncle Harry. “Take good care of it!” Uncle Harry said. Pip put it in his playhouse.

THE NEXT DAY Pip looked at the plant. “Oh dear,” he said. “My little plant has got a yellow leaf.”

“What can I do, Mom?” “Let's put it on the balcony,” said Mom. “Give it some sunshine."

THE NEXT DAY The plant turned green again. Pip was happy.

THE NEXT DAY The plant was wilting. “Your plant has got too much sun," said Mr. Smith, the neighbor. “It will die.”
