Ray is afraid of the dark.

He keeps the lights on even when he sleeps.

One night, Ray saw a flash of lightning. Then he heard thunder. Rain poured down.

Suddenly, the lights went out. Ray was in the dark. WOW DAD!

Mom walked in with a candle. Dad followed.
