Let's Swim

It is a hot day in summer! Turtle and Hare feel very hot. They go to the beach to play.

“Let's go and swim in the water,” says Turtle. “Oh,” says Hare. “but l can't swim."

“Watch me, Hare,” Turtle says. “'ll show you how to swim." Turtle rides the big waves. That looks like fun!

“Come and join with me!”says Turtle. “No, I'm afraid,” says Hare. “Put your toes in the water first,” says Turtle. "The water is cool. Maybe it's not that bad," says Hare.

“Now get on my back,” says Turtle. Hare climbs onto Turtle's back. This is cool! It is so much fun!
