Jojo Writes to the King

“I want to meet the King,”.says Jojo. “I want to tell him a story.” “The King is very busy,’ says Mom. “He can't come to listen to your story.”

“What are you doing, Jojo?” Mom asks. “I'm writing to the King," says Jojo. “I can write the story in a letter.”

Jojo finishes the story. She puts it in a pink envelope and posts it to the king.

A week later, a letter comes. “Look, Mom!” shouts Jojo. “A letter from the King!”

“The King says he loves my story,”says Jojo. “I'll write him a new story every week!” “It's a great idea," says Mom.
