Dave Makes the Save

The ants march out to find leaves. Dave leads them.

"One, two! Kick your shoe!”Dave calls. “Three, four! Kick some more!”the ants call back. The ants find many green leaves and cut them into pieces.

Each ant takes a piece. They march back home. "Look high! In the sky!" calls an ant.

The ants are afraid. Birds like to eat ants. Dave has an idea.

"Hold up your leaves! Front to back! Do a snake!” calls Dave The ants do a snake, side to side.
