A Winter Cave for Bernard

Winter comes. Bernard the bear is very sleepy. He looks for a place to sleep.

He finds a cave. He hesitates to go in. Ralph the rabbit comes over.

"Hello, Bernard!" says Ralph. "It's winter. Why don't you sleep in a warm cave?" "I'm afraid," Bernard is embarrassed.

“You are a big bear. What are you afraid of?" asks Ralph. “I'm afraid of the dark." Ralph thinks for a while. Then he has an idea. “Wait here," he says.

Ralph hops off.Bernard is puzzied. Ralph returns with a family of hedgehogs.
