A strange Noise

Ella's cat, Paws, was lost. Ella asked Sam to help look for her.

First, they looked in Ella's house. But Paws wasn't there.

Next, they looked in Ella's garden. Paws wasn't there, either.

Then they looked in Sam's house. They even looked in the garden shed. But they still couldn't find Paws.

Dusk fell. Ella had to go home, “Don't worry,” said Sam. “We'll look again tomorrow.”
