Dibble the Dry Duck

Dibble never swims in the pond He doesn't like getting wet. On a wet morning, Dibble puts on a pair of boots, a raincoat and a big brown hat.

“Swim in the pond with me!” says Mom. “No. I like dry feathers,"says Dibble.

“Jump in the puddle with me!” says the puppy “No. I like dry feathers,” says Dibble.

“Dance in the rain with me!” says the squirrel. “No. I like dry feathers,” says Dibble.

The squirrel falls into the pond. “Help!” she calls. “I can't swim!” Splash! Dibble jumps into the water.
