The Sly Fox and the Red Hen

This is Red Hen. She lives on a farm.

Red Hen has some chicks. They go chick chick here and chick chick there.

Here is a dog. His name is Ruff. Ruf goes woof woof here and woof woof there. "Nobody comes near Red Hen and the chicks!" he says.

The chicks say, "We are hungry, Mommy!" Red Hen goes to look for some food.

This is Sly Fox. He sees Red Hen. "The dog is asleep. I can catch Red Hen now." he says.
