Chapter 8 sidekick of the Year The sidekicks burst up out of the subway.

They jumped right into battle with Ticklebeak's Bad Eggs. ZING! ZAP! COMET! giggle CRACKLE

Why did the super chickens cross the road? "To get to the bad guy on the other side!" Now I'm off to battle! TEE-HEE-HEE! BLIP! giggle KICK! giggle boing!

Egg Drop and Radar slipped away from the fight. They ran over to free the superheroes. Egg Drop scraped the Super-Silly String from Kung Pow Chicken's beak. Kung Pow, use your Power Peck! PECK! PECK! The superheroes were free of Ticklebeak's messy trap in no time. Good work, Radar! You, too, Egg Drop. but What took you so long? Now, let's get cracking!

The big battle continued. Then Ticklebeak stepped forward. He bokked loudly. Everyone stopped fighting so they could hear better. I've stolen the Fancy-pants Gold Egg! I'm the baddest egg ever! but Why did you steal the egg? Well, it's so shiny! And stealing it was so fun! That egg belongs in the museum! And you and your bad Eggs belong in jail!

But jail was no fun. Ticklebeak would not go back without a fight! Kung Pow Chicken flashed his Drumsticks of Doom. BAM! BOING! STRETCH! WHOOSH! GLOW! DRUMROLL! giggle giggle
