02 School's Out!

Chapter 2 School's Out! Gordon got ready for another ordinary day at school.

Mrs. Blue squeezed Gordon and Benny tight. bye, boys. I'll see you tonight. You have to let go first.

The walk to school was a bit strange. Is it Pajama Day? BOK!

Gordon dropped Benny off at kindergarten. Then he walked to his second grade classroom. He sat next to his friend Annie.

Gordon's teacher, Mr. Giblets, was writing on the board. BOK! BRAINS! BOK! Weird! Mr. Giblets hasn't even touched his red pen! Something very strange is going on here! brains?! brains are COOL! EW! brains are yucky!

The classroom speaker crackled. Gordon and his classmates grew quiet. They waited for their principal to give the morning news. Good morning, Sunnyside School! All students are to leave right now. GO HOME! Teachers, come to the food-eating room. NOW! That is all. Have a nice day. Gordon, that wasn't the principal's voice! Gordon's birdy senses started to tingle. A bad guy was up to no good.
