from tadpole to frog

Little tadpoles come out of frogs eggs. They are like small fish. They are round with long tails and big eyes.

After ten days, the tadpoles can swim to find food. Then they grow little teeth. Their tails get smaller.

The tadpoles grow back legs when they are 6 weeks old.

Next they put their heads out of the water. They can breathe air. Fish can't breathe air.

After 9 weeks, tadpoles grow little front legs. They look green or brown. Their eyes get bigger. They look more like frogs, but they have long tails.
