all the costumes Baxter liked to dress up in the day he learned to fly and smashed into a tree. the time he hid one of Dad's slippers in the toilet... the day I taught him how to jump through a hoop... and the cute face he makes when he wants a cuddle. It felt good to write about Baxter. But it also made me feel sad.
