CHAPTER 39 MEANWHILE, BACK AM THE PRESENT A few hours had passed, and the Rid-O-Kid 2000TM had finally worn off. Yesterday George and Yesterday Harold were back to their old selves again, but nothing around them seemed normal at all. "I wonder where George and Harold went," said Yesterday George. "I have no idea," said Yesterday Harold.

"And where did Tony, Orlando, and Dawn go?" asked Yesterday George. "Beats me," said Yesterday Harold. "It seems like they just disappeared." Yesterday George and Yesterday Harold didn't know what had happened, or why everything had turned out OK. But it seemed like things were going to be just fine from now on, and they were very grateful.

"Well, what should we do now?" asked Harold. "Let's make a new comic book," said George. "About Captain Underpants?" asked Harold. "Nah," said George. "Let's do something different. How about a Dog Man comic?" "OK," said Harold happily.

And together, the two friends wrote and drew and laughed all afternoon.
