WHAT SHARP WHISKERS! My cousin Trap strode into the room with a smug smile. Trap runs a thrift shop, Cheap Junk for Less. When he's not at the store he loves to cook, hang out with his obnoxious friends, and play tricks on me. "Auntie, what's shakin'? I got your letter," he squeaked, waving a lavender envelope identical to mine. "DO YOU NEED HELP? I'M YOUR MOUSE!" Aunt Sweetfur hugged him. "Dear, dear nephew! It's been such a long time since I last saw you! What sharp whiskers you have. And what nice, shiny fur. I bet you are very popular with the females. How wonderful!" she cooed.
Trap chuckled, flexing his muscles. "You are quite right, Auntie, I have lots of sweethearts. Can't keep 'em away." He smirked. "Yep, when it comes to charm, you either have it or you don't. And I have it. Poor Geronimo here has got zero charm. Zilch. Zip. Nada. It's not his fault, really.... He was born that way." I was furious. Steam poured from my ears. "How dare you!" I squeaked. Aunt Sweetfur held up her paw. "That's enough!" she ordered. "When will you two learn to get along? You have been
fighting since you were both in high chairs!" I sighed. She was right. A picture of messy baby Trap whacking me over the head with a spoon flashed through my brain. Just then, the door flew open.
