HERE'S YOUR TREASURE! I put my paw on the amphora. What was inside? Oil? Vinegar? SUPER-SOUR PICKLES? My tummy flip-flopped. Do you like pickles? I don't. I tried to ignore my churning tummy as I examined the yellow-colored wax on the amphora. It had a seal imprinted on it that showed a picture of a mouse fighting a cat. This was the coat of arms of KING CHEDDARAMA IV. I was still staring at the sealing wax when I felt someone shove me aside. "Well, what are you waiting for, Gerry Berry?" my cousin squeaked. Before I knew what was happening, he whipped out
a sharp knife and removed the stopper. What nerve! What impatience! What was that delicious smell? My whiskers twitched. I began to drool. The yummy smell spread throughout the boat. Trap sniffed the jar. it's cheese!" he announced. He sniffed again. "Wooweee! That King Ramachama really knew his cheeses!" "You mean KING CHEDDARAMA," I corrected him. My cousin waved a paw at me. Then he nibbled a tiny sliver of the cheese. "Cheddarama... cheddarlama... whatever his name was. This stuff is first-rat quality Parmesan, matured for more than two centuries! Here's your treasure, Geronimama!" he squeaked.
