19-GET A GRIP, GERRY BERRY!

GET A GRIP, GERRY BERRY! "Get a grip, Gerry Berry!" my sister exclaimed. I stopped crying for a minute. Why do some mice like to make fun of my name? Is it really that hard to say? I don't think so. My sister just likes to drive me crazy. "The name is Geronimo!" I yelled now, stamping my paw. It splashed in a big puddle. Water shot up my nose. Thea smirked. "Listen, Germeister!" she shouted at the top of her lungs. "Everything's under control! There will be a

Christmas Eve dinner here tonight, or my name is not Thea Stilton!" she shrieked. She jumped onto my TV stand and began barking out orders. "Trap! Benjamin! This is what we need!" she began. Then she rattled off a long list of items. one sump pump (to suck up the water fast) ten electric fans and ten heaters (to dry the walls and floors) new wallpaper (to cover up the scorched walls)

new wall-to-wall carpeting (to cover the floors ruined by the water) a restorer (to fix the priceless antique furniture) lots of food (to replace the spoiled Christmas Eve dinner) When she was done with her list, Thea snapped her tail. "Well, what are you waiting for? she yelled. "Let's do it! Go! Go! Go!" Did I mention my sister likes to be in charge? Exhausted, I slumped into my favorite pawchair. "Forget it," I said with a sigh. "We'll never make it. It's impossible." Oh, what a dreadful Christmas Eve!
