Scaredy Bats

This is Pat. He is a scaredy bat.

Pat saw a tall tree. It was scary. So he flew away. Flap, flap!

Pat saw the round moon. It was scary. So he flew away. Flap, flap!

Pat saw a black cat. It was scary. So he flew away. Flap, flap! 

Pat saw a white ghost. It was scary. But he did not fly away. Why?

Because his pal said, “ It is just me. ” Hee, hee!
