Panther would not stop crying. “ It’s all my fault, ” she kept repeating. “ We’re going to find him, ” comforted Cy. As the children searched, Bobby discovered something interesting . “ Footprints! ” he shouted. Cy studied the prints carefully.

Then he said, “ This creature can walk on two or four legs. ” “ A dinosaur took Lamb? What if he eats him?” asked Jane, worried. “ We can’t waste anymore time . ” Cy followed the footprints . They led them deeper into the forest. They looked everywhere but still foundno sign of Lamb.

Exhausted, the children leaned against a tree. “ What are we going to do now?” sniffed Panther Suddenly the ground began to shake. The children glanced at each other. They were afraid. The ground trembled again. Something really big is coming, ” said Bobby.

Then they heard the most frightful scream. The hairs on their necks stood up. “ Uh-oh, ” muttered Cy. ” What is it?” whispered Jane. The trembling became more intense. ” Run! ” shouted Cy. The children took off in the opposite direction from the noise.

” Don’t look back, ” Cy yelled at the top of his voice. But it was too late . Bobby turned around to see what was chasing them. “ It’s a T. rex! ” he screamed. hen he tripped and fell hard to the ground. The Tyrannosaurus rex was a gigantic creature with extremely sharp teeth .
