The Lemonade Stand

The Lemonade Stand

Bbby grinned when he arrived at camp on Friday. All the campers, including Mr. Dunn, were wearing their tie-dyed T-shirts. “ We look like a team! ” Bobby said. “ Why did you ask us to wear the T-shirts today?” Bobby asked Mr. Dunn.

“ Because today we are going to be a team, ” Mr. Dunn said. “ A business team. ” “ Remember the lemonade we made a few weeks ago?” Mr. Dunn asked. “ Of course! It was sooo good, ” Izzie said. “ Bobby said it was good enough to sell, ” Mr. Dunn said. “ Today we’ll try selling it, ” Mr. Dunn said.

“ We’re having a lemonade stand?” Nina cried. “ Yep. So we’ll need half our team to make the lemonade. " “ The other half can paint signs and set up the table, ” said Mr. Dunn.

Izzie, Nina, and Ethan agreed to make the signs. Bobby and Jason said they would make the lemonade. “ Everyone is going to love this lemonade, ” Bobby said to Jason. “ We’re going to be rich! ” Jason rolled his eyes. “ Um, I don’t think we’re going to be rich, Bobby. How much is one cup? Probably just a few cents. ”

“ No way! ” Bobby said. “ It should be at least two dollars. ” The boys spent two hours making pitchers of lemonade. Then they brought a cooler of ice outside. The girls and Ethan had made huge signs that said: “ Sweet Iced Lemonade, Just 25¢. ”
