It was early Monday morning. Dr. Chen and General Waltz were in the lab. “ The cure is ready. ” Dr. Chen showed the general a small device. “ This sprays a mist. The mist stops the geyser’s energy. ” She walked toward the cells. “ I’ll use it on Private Benson first, and then—”

The scientist stopped. She looked at the general. “ I think the cure is a bad idea. ” General Waltz smiled. Roxy got out of bed and yawned. She was still tired from spending most of the night in space. Her watch beeped.

“ Metro City Central Bank is being robbed! ” Mayor Bloom said. “ Maybe Brain Invader is controlling Mayor Bloom, ” Roxy thought. “ But maybe not. I have to find out. ” “ Don’t worry, ” Roxy said. “ I’m on my way! ” Roxy arrived at the bank. Police officers hid behind their cars.

Slime covered the cars. “ Uh-oh, ” Roxy said. “ Brain Invader is controlling the Mighty Man actor again! ” Crash! A figure smashed through the bank’s wall. Roxy’s eyes went wide. “ Private Benson! ”

Private Benson was holding a sack of money. She jumped onto a police car. Smash! Metal twisted. Windows shattered. The Mighty Man actor came out with more money. “ Don’t let Brain Invader control you! ” Roxy shouted. The villains attacked.
