Roxy looked around. The memories were over. She was back in the old factory. It was late at night. Brain Invader floated in front of her. He made a fist. “ Why are you so hard to control, Rocket Girl?” Roxy tried to fire her eye laser beams. “ Stop! ” Brain Invader said in her head.

“ Okay, I will, ” Roxy thought. Then she got mad. “ Hey! Stop controlling me! ” She tried again to fire her eye laser beams. “ Don’t do it! ” Brain Invader said. Roxy tried to ignore his voice. “ Don’t . . . tell me . . . what . . . to do! ” Whiz-hoo!

She forced her eye laser beams to fire. The villain held up a hand. The laser beams turned before they reached him. They hit a support beam. Boom! The building began to crumble. Brain Invader vanished. Roxy escaped as rubble fell to the ground.

The next morning Roxy woke up early. “ I have to tell Dr. Chen about Brain Invader. ” She flew to the lab. Private Benson was reading a book in her cell. Dr. Chen wiped slime off the wall. The Mighty Man actor smiled. “ Good news, Rocket Girl! ” Slime shot from his hand.

It sprayed a chair. “ Dr. Chen’s cure is almost ready! ” Dr. Chen walked over. “ I just need to check a couple of things. ” She saw the slimy chair and frowned. “ Then the cure will be ready. ” “ Great! ” Roxy said. “ But we have another problem. I found out who’s controlling me and Private Benson. He calls himself Brain Invader.
