The Mighty Man actor frowned. “ Everyone’s calling me Slime Guy! ” “ How do you know?” Roxy asked. “ People are making Clocktime videos about it. There’s even a dumb Slime Guy dance! ” The actor sighed. “ Why can’t I have cool super powers like you?”

“ I didn’t choose my super powers. ” Roxy shrugged. “ Sometimes I don’t like my super strength. ” The actor raised an eyebrow. “ You don’t?” Roxy shook her head. “ I always have to be careful. I might break stuff—or hurt someone. But my super powers let me help people. So that’s good. ”

Dr. Chen walked over. “ Private Benson? Is that you?” Private Benson nodded. “ I think Old Misty did this to me. ” “ Someone’s trying to control our minds too, ” Roxy said. “ I have to find out who it is. ”

Dr. Chen shook her head. “ Old Misty’s energy is causing problems. But I’m working on a cure. ” The actor smiled. “ Good! I don’t want to be a real superhero. ” Roxy’s shoulders slumped. Her plan was failing. She was still Metro City’s only superhero.

General Waltz walked in. “ Private Benson? What happened to you?” Private Benson told him her story. The general tapped his chin. “ Very odd. ” Dr. Chen looked at Private Benson and the Mighty Man actor. “ I don’t know why. But the geyser’s energy affected only you two. And the skunk. ”
