Roxy scratched her head. “ Why is the Mighty Man actor causing trouble?” “ I think he’s trying to fight crime, ” Mayor Bloom said. “ But he made a mess at Metro Mart. ” Roxy sighed. “ I’m on my way. ” Roxy flew fast. She checked her watch. “ I hope this doesn’t take long. Terrell is coming over at six. ”

Slime was everywhere inside Metro Mart. The Mighty Man actor held a teenager. The teenager was trying to get away. “ Let go of me! ”

“ Hi, Rocket Girl! ” The actor grinned. “ I’m a superhero now—just like you! ” The store’s owner frowned. “ My store is ruined! ” “ Where did this slime come from?” Roxy asked. Splat! Slime shot from the actor’s hand. “ Pretty cool, right? This kid was stealing soda. I stopped him. ”

The store owner groaned. “ I told you— customers can fill their own cups for free on Fridays. ” “ Yeah! ” the teenager said. Roxy sighed. “ Let him go. ” “ Fine. ” The actor released the teenager. “ Your show stinks, Mighty Man! ” The teenager ran away.

“ When did you get your slime power?” Roxy asked. “ Today, ” the actor said. Just then Dr. Chen walked in with the general. She still had her device. “ Rocket Girl! ” Dr. Chen said. “ It’s good to see you again. ”
