Roxy went back to her friends. “ I just remembered, ” she said. “ It’s, uh, my aunt’s birthday. I should call her. ” Roxy hurried away. Terrell caught up to her. “ Are you going to find the Tattle Twins?” he asked. Roxy shook her head.

“ There’s an emergency at Police Headquarters. I’ll be back soon. ” Terrell went back to his seat. “ Rocket Girl was framed, ” he said. Mara and Jack nodded. Terrell tapped his chin. “ Rocket Girl always helps other people. I wish we could help her. ”

Roxy arrived at Police Headquarters. Several police officers were waiting for her. “ Where’s the emergency?” Roxy asked. An officer slapped handcuffs on Roxy. “ You’re under arrest, Rocket Girl. ”

“ What?” Roxy cried. The officer led Roxy toward the jail cells. Roxy looked down at the handcuffs. “ I could break these and escape, ” she thought. She looked back at all the police officers. “ But I don’t want anyone to get hurt. ”

The officer opened a jail cell. Detective Smith was sitting inside. He looked annoyed. Roxy went in. The officer took off the handcuffs. Then she slammed the door shut. “ Detective, ” Roxy said. “ I don’t like your new office. ”
