A Hungry Little Guy

An astronaut entered a space station. She drank from a pouch as she looked out a window. Suddenly she gasped. A small object was floating near the space station. She waved over another astronaut. “ Officer Wells! What is that thing?”

Officer Wells looked out the window. “ I’m not sure, Dr. Chen. But it looks like a spaceship! ” The astronauts put on their spacesuits and went outside. They hooked a rope onto the space station. Then they carefully floated toward the spaceship. Officer Wells grabbed it. “ Let’s bring it inside. ”

Dr. Chen bit her lip. “ I don’t think that’s a good idea. ” “ It’s fine, ” Officer Wells said. Officer Wells and Dr. Chen brought the tiny spaceship inside. A hatch popped open. They heard soft footsteps. Dr. Chen held her breath. A small, furry creature stepped out of the spaceship. “ Furbit! ”

Officer Wells smiled. “ Aww! How cute! ” Furbit pulled a wrench off the wall. Chomp! Gulp! It ate the wrench. Then it ate a sleeping bag. “ Furbit! Furbit! ” Officer Wells laughed. “ Wow! He’s a hungry little guy! ”

Dr. Chen shook her head. “ This was a bad idea! ” “ There is so much trash here, ” Terrell said.
