Roxy ran out of Gem’s Jewelry. “ My wallet’s gone! ” a man yelled. “ My phone’s gone! ” a woman shouted. A man looked down at his bare feet. “ Who took my shoes?” Roxy saw something dart into an alley. She flew to the alley. A woman stood near an open door. The woman wore a tight bodysuit.

Electricity sparked along its surface. Roxy saw money and other items poking out from a big sack. The woman chuckled. “ This is so easy! ” Then she vanished. Roxy looked around. “ Where did she go?” The woman appeared again.

Now the sack looked empty. She laughed. “ It’s time to steal some more! ” “ You’re under arrest! ” Roxy called. The woman smiled. “ Hello, Rocket Girl. ” Fwoosh! She vanished and then appeared behind Roxy. “ Do you think you can catch me?” Roxy spun to face the woman.

Fwoosh! The woman disappeared again. Now she was on the other side of Roxy. “ I’m too fast for you, Rocket Girl! ” Roxy ran toward the woman. Fwoosh! The woman was at the other end of the alley now. She laughed. “ Nobody can catch me. My suit gives me super speed! ”

“ Who are you?” Roxy asked. The woman grinned. “ I’m the fastest thief in the world—that’s who I am. But you can call me Flick. Flick Flash. ” Fwoosh! Flick dashed off. Roxy shot after her. “ Wow, ” she thought. “ Flick is even faster than I am! ” Flick blasted by a newsstand. The wind knocked the stand over.
