Roxy gulped. “ That jet is going to crash! ” Roxy flew up and caught the jet. She set it down in the stadium’s parking lot. The passengers got out. “ Thank you, Rocket Girl! ” the pilot said. Roxy flew back into the stadium.

The crowd was booing. “ You’re a bad sport, Hitz! ” “ Cheater! ” “ You stink! ” Fitz Hitz looked furious. “ I don’t stink. I’m the best baseball player ever! ” “ You’re going to jail, Fitz! ” Roxy said. “ Never! ” Fitz Hitz pressed a button on his uniform.

Shwoomp! He zapped up into he giant baseball. “ How dare you boo me! ” Fitz shouted through a microphone. “ My Battle Baseball can destroy this entire stadium! ” The giant baseball began to hum. Sparks shot from it. Roxy made a fist and flew at the Battle Baseball. Pow!

The baseball crashed into an empty section of seats. A hatch popped open. “ Let’s go, team! ” Dale Rivers said. The Miners jumped out and escaped. “ Gah! ” Fitz Hitz flew the baseball toward Roxy.

Roxy fired her eye laser beams. Whiz-hoo! The laser beams bounced off the Battle Baseball. They hit a snack bar. Pretzels, hot dogs, and other snacks went everywhere. A basket of French fries landed in Mara’s lap. “ Oops! ” Roxy bit her lip. “ I need to be more—”
