In the Mud

Toad fought with the raccoon in the speeding car. The car went side to side on the road. “ Give me the wheel! ” cried the raccoon. “ Get your hands off me! ” yelled Toad.

Toad grabbed the wheel with all his might. The car turned suddenly. “ Ahhh! ” cried Toad. The car crashed through a row of bushes.

“ Oh no! ” cried the raccoon. Then the car crashed into a muddy pond. Toad bounced out of the car. He landed in soft grass.

The driver and his friends landed in the mud. “ Look at you! ” laughed Toad. “ Call the police! ” they yelled. “ I have to escape! ” cried Toad.

Toad hopped up and ran. He climbed over fences. He jumped across ditches. He crawled through bushes.
