Chomp! Chomp! Chomp! The robot shark shot toward Roxy. “ Whoa! ” Roxy darted to the side. The shark’s snapping jaws just missed her. People on the street below pointed. “ A flying robot shark! ” a man cried. “ Run! ” a woman shouted. The shark flew at Roxy again.

Its jaws were wide open. Whoosh! Roxy blew her freeze breath at the shark. Its jaws froze in place. Roxy grabbed the shark and swung it toward the ground. It smashed into a million pieces. Now I need to catch Bonnie Bones! ” Zoom!

She spotted the pirate ship flying over Metro City Park. Roxy landed on the ship’s deck. Bonnie Bones stood at the wheel. A big cannon sat near her. “ Land this ship right now! ” Roxy shouted. “ I’m taking you to jail! ” “ Jail! ” the parrot sang. “ Arr! ” Bonnie Bones pointed the cannon at Roxy and lit the fuse.

Boom! A cannonball shot out. Roxy leaped forward and caught the cannonball. Bonnie’s eyes went wide. “ How did you . . . ?” Roxy rolled the cannonball back at Bonnie. The pirate jumped out of the way. Then she lit the fuse again.

Roxy stared hard. Orange beams shot from her eyes and melted the cannon. “ Arr! ” Bonnie tried to run away. Whiz-hoo! Roxy fired her eye laser beams. Bonnie blocked the laser beams with her hook. The beams bounced off and hit the ship’s wheel. Ka-boom!
