Amazing Show

The balloon animals started smashing windows and chasing people. The clowns laughed and ran off. Crash! A balloon lion knocked over a hot dog stand. “ My hot dogs! ” the owner cried. “ Rocket Girl, help! ” a woman cried. A balloon tiger snapped its jaws at her.

Roxy shot toward the balloon tiger. The tiger spun around and faced her. Roxy grabbed it and held it on the ground. The tiger wriggled free and then rolled on top of her. “ Grr! ” Roxy struggled with the big balloon. She squeezed as hard as she could.

Pop! The balloon tiger zipped back and forth as the air left it. Soon the lifeless balloon fell to the street. Roxy quickly popped all the other balloon animals. Then she went after the clowns.

Terrell, Jack, and Mara were in science. Terrell pointed out the window. “ I see clowns! ” Mara scratched her head. “ Why are they jogging?”

Mr. Bubbles stopped jogging. “ Take a break, boys, ” he said. “ I need . . . to catch . . . my breath. ” The other clowns fell over. “ I can’t run anymore, boss, ” one said. “ My legs are tired! ” “ It’s too bad we left the car, ” another said.
